Is it normal that I'm starting to be unable to tell who is real and who is trolling. I don't mean the obvious fake posts but like almost everything on here is starting to sound fake. They will make up the most pointless stories and keep posting them here in various forms.

Common ones I've seen repeated here:

emotionally abusing kids / wife over something stupid

leaving a gf for a "hotter" girl then regretting it

being with a "perfect, rich, beautiful" woman but don't get along

being a lesbian / FTM and harassing straight women

having a micropenis and wanting girls to laugh at it

being "straight" and married but wanting to suck a man's dick

etc.

is it normal I think half of these are the same person and they have some weird fetish for a very specific kind of negative attention they get?

    Same. I have to stop and think real hard before commenting now, sometimes I can't work it out and don't bother. The lines have completely blurred, I thought it was just me.

    Yep, I think lots of posts are fakes. Some are trolls who need any attention, whether it’s negative or positive. Others are people trying to create drama around some issue they’re hung up on. But, some of the things you listed could be true stories sometimes.

    Yeah, but it's not so bad. You can ignore stuff that you think sounds fake if you want. Also, even troll posts might still hold some value if they spark some sort of discussion or make you laugh when you read the sick burns that people have delivered in the comments. Anything that you can learn from or have fun with is worthy of a post, I'd say.
