Is it normal that modern day feminists make me want to rip their eyes out

I get it, women are great, I am one and I think it’s great. But all these modern day “buzzfeed” feminists are just making me hate my own gender. THEY SUCK THE JOY OUT OF EVERYTHING AND I REALLY JUST WISH THEY’D GET BLOWN OUT TO SPACE OR SOMETHING.

Then stop reading garbage like buzzfeed, silly boy. Radical feminists and sjw's havent been relevant for years except as a strawman / scapegoat / bogeyman for angry new age conservatives to bring up in every topic related to women.

      This.

    • Okay, first of all, I’m a girl (made that clear in my post if you didn’t read it). Second of all, I brought up buzzfeed feminists as an example of the type of women I was referring to. In general, I don’t have to look it up, it’s constantly being thrown at me. Like i’m trying to find videos on youtube to help with my gameplay and I get videos of women accusing games for “anti women” messages, mostly from main leftist media channels. I don’t go to the movies hardly ever anymore because all the trailers involve some poorly written female lead that hacks off mens balls and reigns supreme. (Tv shows too, like star trek discovery, or STD, It’s absolute trash. They wanted strong female characters but delivered spoiled brats. My favorite star trek character of all time is Capt. Kathryn Janeway, now that’s a leading female role written right.)

I don’t agree with every single conservative value, I don’t agree with every leftist value either. I’d say I’m a warm neutral. But I just find it difficult to live life being bashed over the head from the media (reffering to both sides of the platform) constantly arguing over women. Can’t we argue over something important, or atleast something involving women that’s important? Like perhaps human sex trafficking? Which is so prevolant in our day in age that it makes black slavery in america look like a joke. And that’s so horrible to think about, but it’s true.

Like, I saw a commercial from Adidas I believe, saying women were shunned in the sports world with little to no light on female athletes. What a load of shit, have they not seen the volleyball teams (where women dominate), the tennis courts, track and field, snowboarding, horse eventing, ice skating, soccer— like what rock do you have to be living under to not notice them? Or rather to say ‘women athletes are never noticed.’ What the fuck? Gabriella Douglas has been my younger sisters role model for gymnastics for years! and I mean, I’m not even a big sports fan, but still I recognize women in sports.

I assumed you were a dude roleplaying as a woman to help get your tired old point across, because if you are actually a woman upset about this, you should do something about it other than stooping to their level of stupidity and insanity. First step would be not to support sensationalist media / propaganda no matter what youtube tells you to watch.

        • Yeah no not a dude, which gives me some sort of a grace when dealing with it. I was hoping to actually meet one of these hardcore feminists in person and ask them my own questions to see what is or isn’t true about them. But my college campus doesn’t seem to have any.

Right, because they aren't actually as prevalent as internet culture would like you to believe.

Bravo. I'm a guy, and Capt. Janeway was a leader that I would do my top level work for any day. Thank you, my friend. You lifted my faith in womankind up a notch today.

        • I know! Capt. Janeway never lets her feminity to interfere with her work or use it as a victim card (or use it as ‘hey look im a girl and i did this).
She treats her crew with a firm but motherly hand much like Picard would fill in as a fatherly role.

It's not thrown at you. I never look it up and I never see videos or articles about it.

Unless you know, you look it up. Then you will.

Just stop listening to them, it's only Buzzfeed. Buzzfeed is like that person who is a know-it-all, but actually doesn't know anything. I felt the same way a few years ago. Now I don't put my time and energy on them because they're just time wasters

    • Yeah, exactly. I do BuzzFeed food quizzes though, but most of the rest of the website is laughable. They also make things rating, ogling, and objectifying men.

I don't have a problem with that, really, but I know they'd take issue with those kinds of things if they were about women on a website aimed at men.

They suck mostly because they only care about first world problems, but they for some reason don’t give a shit about the Middle East and the FGM problem and the disrespect from the Islamic faith. But god help the Catholic Church for not allowing female bishops!

If you want to understand women you just need to understand what the most intelligent man thinks of them.

Nikola Tesla was truly a genius who could essentially see now almost 100 years into the future. The following is a "hit" article against Tesla by some random, effeminate male. Even so, it's worth reading for the quotations alone:

    https://paleofuture.gizmodo.com/why-nikola-tesla-is-an-unlikely-hero-to-mens-rights-act-1661132299

“As we contemplate any change, we naturally take into consideration the results that may follow such an innovation. One of the results to my mind is quite a pathetic one,” Tesla said.

But women weren’t really going to be succeeding in this new world order, Tesla said. No, the fairer sex would really be the “victims” of their own success, sounding like a conservative pundit on some cable news show.

“Woman, herself, is really the victim instead of, as she thinks, the victor. Contentment is absent from her life. She is ambitious, often far beyond her natural equipment, to attain the thing she wants. She too frequently forgets that all women cannot be prima donnas and motion picture stars,” Tesla opined.

“Woman’s discontent makes the life of the present day still more overstressed. The high pitch given to existence by people who are restless and dissatisfied because they fail to achieve things wholly out of proportion to the health and talent with which Nature has endowed them is a bad thing for the world,” Tesla said, subtly evoking the language of eugenics that would pop up again in his interviews during the 1930s.

“It seems to me that women are not particularly happy in this newly found freedom, in this new competition which they are waging so persistently against men in business and the professions and even in sport,” Tesla said. “The question that naturally arises is, whether the women themselves are the gainers or the losers.”

“History has given us many examples of the wonderful influence exerted by unusual women. Among these have been the mothers of great men,” Tesla said to the reporter in 1924, perhaps referring to his own mother in a rather immodest way. “But their influence lay not in their determination to outdo man, or even to compete with him.”

Here's why I think Tesla missed the mark. I have seen young mothers dress their girl toddlers in old clothes and tell them to go play. No socialization, no expectations, they were completely on their own. Guess what? They made mud pies, caught frogs and climbed trees. They also played with little boys.

As these unsocialized girls grew into pre-adolescence, they wanted to do everything the boys did, like ride small motorbikes, swing tennis rackets, and play guitars. BUT, once they had done it well, they didn't want to do it anymore.

When you think about this in a prehistoric setting it makes a HUGE amount of sense. Men encountered danger while hunting, and were frequently injured or killed. If the Mother of the family could hunt temporarily, her kids had a huge survival advantage.

It's not that society fails to teach girls to strive for success. Indeed, it's the opposite. They teach them too much irrelevant shit which destroys their natural ability to handle contingency leadership, and innovation in industrial pursuits.

So, tell your daughter to be active, and then get out of her way. She will fall down, get up, become strong, and find her way in the world. And, when she does, her example will teach YOU what it means to be a woman.

Most of the feminists you're talking about are the type that will make up problems that don't exist to make themselves seem morally superior while ignoring the massive problems that women in other countries actually have to deal with. So yes, completely normal.

The world is full of absurdness in all directions, it's not normal for you to allow others to take such deep real-estate in your mind to where you'd want to rip your eyes out. If you let others opinions live in your head it'll drive you insane.

Set yourself free from the worries of others, with 7 billion people there will always be an outrageous thing to disagree with, especially with news constantly bombarding us all with the extremes of every view point imaginable.

Just live true to what you believe and share it with others if you feel its worth doing so, and practice socratic dialogue with people you disagree with, even those who are not practicing it back.

Dw Op the feminists are dead. Most people realize that they just fight for crazy bull shit, and they're not taken seriously by non-sjws.

In short, their credibility is 0 and it's not going to improve anytime soon.

I don't think that many people in real life really think this way, it's just a few loudmouths on social media.

Feminism in general is much less relevant than it used to be, I think most people are more focused on gender equality or neutrality, whatever you wanna call it.
