Is it normal that me and my friends have prepared for a zombie apocalypse
is it normal that me and my friends have prepared for the even that the dead will rise/ a disease will strike triggering a zombie pandemic.
phase1: board up the house, turn off all the lights, (if its at night) fill all recepticles with water, its gonna be a long wait.
phase2: the wait: we wait in the house with people who are there, friends, family, or other (its important that someone is there). this will keep you reassured and keep your mind at ease.
phase3: (at this point i should add that we all have working equipment such as night vision goggles, and gun licences for small arms such as pistols, we have 2 pistols each and silencers, and we each have an industrial size container full of clips. we each have full hiking gear also) from here we move onto the roof (at night on the 5th day when all the chaos has died down) and make our way down to the lowest density area of the assailants. we then move slowly and quietly to "gethin" a friend of ours house, with a reinforced door that we all have a key for.
phase4: move to the country roads in any vehicle or on foot. there will be a low density of them there. this will help us save ammo food and water.
phase5: we move to a small coastal town on the west coast. possibly cornwall if it is not too overcrowded, we then steal a boat and move to the narvallan oil rig off the west coast about 30 miles out. here we will stay for years or until news arrives of the infection been quelled. since oil rigs can filter salt water and have fishing armaments in case of rough weather we can stay there indefinately. this is one of the few places that the undead will never be able to reach and we will be safe.
now heres the thing. all together this cost us about £125000 each, which leads me to believe that this may have become an obsession because we have even done trial runs on saturday nights when there are alot of people on the street( minus the weapons of course)
what do you guys think, and if you think it is an obsession what do you say i do about it.
