Is it normal that when me and my friend (males) were 9 and 11 we watched porn and masturbated together (not gayly)?
Totally normal. It doesn't mean your Bi or Gay or going to turn out Bi or Gay. I'm 18 and I still do it with my Mates sometimes. It's fun and part of bonding Friendships. I'm not saying all Mates do it though, but there's definitely nothing wrong with it. Me and my Mates also have sort of Games with it too, like seeing who Spunks Up First. Who lasts longest. Who shoots the furthest. Who shoots the most. Etc.
You'd be surprised to know how many guys did something like that when they were kids or young teenagers. Kinsey told that already like, 50 yrs ago. Absolutely normal.
Yeh, It's very common. According to the Hite Report on Male Sexuality (a large study of over 7,000 men and boys), 43% of men said said they had masturbated with other males as teens. The response from almost half was that the guy had done only what you and your friend do - he had masturbated in the same room.
Just over half, the guy had masturbated another boy's penis or had his penis masturbated by the other boy (usually both of course)
What's most important to you, probably, is that neither group was any more likely to be gay as adults than the guys who never masturbated with friends.
That was my personal experience as well. My best friend and I used to do it every sleepover for years. We seldom had porn, but we'd talk about girls and what we hoped to do w them. I'd give him a massage and jack him off at the end. Then we'd trade places.
He and I both are straight as adults. The same is true of about a half dozen other friends I did it with at least once.
