Is it normal that literally everyone wants to visit australia?

I constantly hear people say they want to visit Australia for some reason. I don't see the appeal tbh. I think it sounds really boring somehow.

Been obsessed with Canada since the age of 7. For Christmas, I received a toy projector with films, one of which was 'Trail Of The Mounties' about the Canadian Mounted Police. It got me 'into' Canada.

I got obsessed with it mainly because of Canadian cartoons I grew up with.

I've never been interested in visiting Australia.

Way too many critters that can kill you scuttling and slithering and swimming and crawling around.

This is a bit of a misconception. Australia sounds much more dangerous than it is.

For example, more people die from snake bites in the USA than in Australia. Nobody in Australia has died from a spider bite since the 70s.

This might sound weird, but I've always felt like Steve Irwin was practically a saint when it comes to animals. I remember completely losing interest in this guy I dated from work, because he was disrespectful about the death of the Crocodile Hunter.

Rest in peace Steve Irwin! πŸ™πŸ»πŸ˜‡πŸ•ŠπŸ’“πŸŒΉ

Not me. Not to put down a whole country, but I would only go if all my expenses were paid.

I actually never met anyone who said they wanted to visit Australia. I personally wouldn't mind visiting but I also don't mind not ever visiting

I assume you mean "a lot of people" rather than literally everyone. It's not an issue at the moment anyway, most of the country is in lockdown

I visited Australia on a work visa for 2 year engineering project in 1985-1986. Best country I've ever lived in. I still keep in touch with a couple of old friends there.
