Humans are a "pair-bonding" species. While I'll grant you that we are not completely genetically programmed for monogamy we are certainty not sex machines rigged to copulate at every chance for proliferation of species. Free love is not the natural state of humanity. If you belive that it is you are flat out wrong. Humans have strong male jealousy and mate guarding tendencies as well as female oxytocin release that drives bonding.
