Is it normal that i watch an episode over and over just to memorize their faces

Sometimes I'll watch a part of an episode or a full episode over and over again just so I can remember every detaIl of each character. I'll listen to how they speak and see their facial expressions and I'll memorize them till I pretty much can do all of it on my own. Afterwards I'll act the episode out and I'll do the facial expression exactly how they did it and say what they said exactly how they said it. I only do it on non animated shows. Also I'll look at them and figure out what the character is thinking, but maybe that's just my fan fiction writer side.

    I think it's cool. This will help you understand people more, and you will also improve in acting. Did you ever think of being an actor? -because alot of actors actually practice this way.
