I've looked into skin lightening creams from Korea and I reeeally want to start my regimen to feel prettier.

Do not lighten your skin. Not only is it very damaging and unhealthy, it doesn't look good or natural. I see pictures of people who do it and, tbh, they just look sick and washed out to me, and often patchy to boot. Lil Kim looks fucking awful these days.
Find dark skinned models of beauty, there's plenty out there. Gabrielle Union, Lupita, Teyonah Parris, Kelly Rowland, Danai Gurira, Nia Long. The list goes on. All these women are gorgeous.
