  • I doubt losing 15 pounds will make you happy.

    • I think it would. I've lost a few pounds in the past and it always makes me happy.

      • 15 lbs is still not a few pounds. It is more than 10% of your body weight. Any time your goal is more than 10%, you are setting yourself up for failure. Focus on being healthy. However your current goal is very unhealthy and likely to cause you malnutrition. You are currently at a healthy weight, why change that?

        • I've done it before, I'm sure I can do it again.

          • And that, right there, should tell you that it is not something you can maintain. Don't kid yourself, your goal is unrealistic and unhealthy. It will leave you weak and prone to bone loss. Talk to a professional if you don't believe me. You are setting yourself up for disappointment and future health problems. Our bodies want to be healthy and you don't seem to know what that means.

            • Maintain? I haven't gained weight. Being overweight is unhealthy. I just want to be thin enough.
