Is it normal that i want to get lowballed on craigslist?

I am thinking of selling my car and I am hoping people will talk me way down to some lowball offer. I know it might be wishful thinking but I heard craigslist is a place one can get lowball offers.

Do you think i would have any luck in maybe talking to some cheapskate too?

Haha i tried selling a car on craigslist and i said no lower than 1200. He paused for a second and said "I can give you 50 if I can take it today and ill pay you 500 Friday"

I mean it’s only good if you can get the rest of the payment under the table. This is technically fraud but the feds don’t need to know about a missing grand here and there.

  • I got my dad’s ps4 after he passed back in 2017, I didn’t want it and went to sell it on fb marketplace for 100 bucks.

Some lady was so excited to have found my offer and was grieved to hear about my dad she gave me 500 for it. Said it was going to make an amazing present for her grandson and she wished me a happy new year.

    That was pretty cool

  • Lowballers are everywhere but idk why you’d want a low offer. I’ve used craigslist to sell cars but most lowballers I’ve seen come through facebook when I’ve posted it there. I always post for like 500 more than I’ll actually take because people talk down so much but you’ll get that everywhere.

You should offer a slice of pizza you found on the sidewalk.
