    My guess is that you have some subconscious or pent up negative feelings toward your girlfriend and you are unknowingly taking it out on "her" cats.

      I mean, I suppose that would make sense. I never had this feeling in our "honeymoon phase". But I am 100% in love with her, I don't feel any sense of aggression or anger towards her EVER. The subconscious thing would make sense I guess... Just makes me feel like an asshole :/
