We're a married couple (12 years) who are too much in love, but due to my job, I have to be out for a considerable amount of time. So I encouraged my wife to take on a lover and gradually over 8 years they became quite close to each other. But whenever I'm back home, she stops all communications with him, and he knows that I"m back. Recently we had a straight threesome and it was simply marvelous for all three of us.
Now he suggested that he also wants her as his wife and bear his children, which I honestly found very arousing and doable and I have been after my wife to get married to him (yes I know.. cannot do it officially, but we'll find a way)

    You haven't said anything at all about how your wife feels about this idea. If she wants it too, why not? Maybe a (say) 6 month trial before committing to children would be a good idea: this would give you all a chance to deal with the jealousy issues which will almost inevitably arise.

    I suggest you all do some research and reading about polyamory first too.

    Yes, it is normal. Knowing your wife is being fulfilled is the best feeling. Knowing she is desirable to other men will make you even more attracted to her. Watching her make love to another man while you get to stay aroused, without the let down after an orgasm, is the most exciting feeling you can have. The relationship your wife and her lover want is the logical progression. If you love her now, you will love her even more if you give her to her lover completely. You already know you want this. Give your wife what she wants, and you will both be happy.
