Is it normal that i walk up to older people and ask where they were 36 years ago?

1981 had some interesting things. That was the year of Elvira by The Oak Ridge boys, YMCA by Village people, and Another one bites the dust by Queen. Also that year came out hits Nine to five, Queen of hearts, and My baby takes the morning train. Also the year of Flash Gordon, Superman 2, Dukes of hazzard, The A team, and Dallas.

If it's someone you know, fine. If they are strangers that's an invasion of privacy. BUT you could strike up a conversation and steer toward age then pop the question.

I was testing software for a combat simulator at a Naval facility, and drinking wine along with wonderful picnic meals with my wife and young kids at various wineries in Napa Valley, CA on the weekends. Even flew a sailplane at 5000 ft one Saturday afternoon.

I remember the movie, Middle Age Crazy. Whew, getting crazy never looked like more fun than that. I was afraid to get impulsive. Real estate was skyrocketing and I had a piece of the action.
