Is it normal that i've never wanted to have sex with any of my boyfriends?

I'm a 20 year old woman, and I have dated what I think is a healthy amount of guys, a few of which were more long-term (I mean the relationship lasted over 6 months).

I have never felt the urge to have sex with any of them, though. I am a virgin, by choice and to the disappointment of my exes. The idea of sex just seems "weird" to me when I contemplate sleeping with a boyfriend. I don't really even enjoy making out- kissing's just not that pleasurable to me.

I think I have a healthy sexual appetite aside from that - I enjoy masturbation and have sexual fantasies about men. I get horny like any other woman. I am sexually attracted to men. They turn me on. I just falter when it comes to actually having sex.

Is this normal? Could it be nerves(because I'm a virgin)? Or have I just had bad luck with the guys I've been dating? Or what?

      Several. Longest relationship has been a year and a half, actually. So we're just in waaay different dating pools.

    My girlfriend never went past kissing with her ex's. She told me she saved herself for the person who would complete her and we lost our virginities to each other :) I guess it's normal to not want to have sex with your boyfriends cause maybe deep inside you know they aren't worth it. Maybe your afraid it might hurt because your a virgin or your just nervous.
