Is it normal that i've hearing aids and glasses at age 21?

Already at a young age, I'm behind everyone else. The fact that I have to wear hearing aids around other people is quite embarrassing.

    I have a cousin who has worn hearing aids since grade school.
    If you need them wear them. Nothing to be embarrassed about.
    If someone judges you negatively because you have glasses and a hearing aid, well the fuck with them.

    I know it's easier said than done, but try not to feel down about it. Things like this are heavily mitigated by confidence. I really wish you well OP

    It's relatively common to be hearing impaired, and use hearing aids.

    I’m a bit ashamed that I know this but my family watched Love Island this summer and one of the modelesque women on there was deaf and wore hearing aids at 22. Unusual as your situation may be you are not alone.
