I become tired too; always having to prove myself here and there. Sometimes I think it would be easier just to be a dumb woman like how everyone expects me to be, especially since I live in a city where tradition (40's - 50's mentality) still going strong, but with a modern twist; however, I'm too stubborn and I know I'm way better than that.
Like a week ago, I just bought a new sofa set with my own money (cause I work, and I wanted a sofa), and I brought my boyfriend along as a nice couple's outing. Even though I was in charge of purchase, and everything, he still looks to my boyfriend to pay and make all the decisions even though he didn't say a word during the whole thing. Thank god I picked a great man, because he looked at the salesman as if he was stupid and pointed to me saying, "This is all her, talk to her," and the salesman apologized and couldn't look me in the eye as I paid for the furniture. It was irritating, but I couldn't get too mad; that guy was raised in the 50's, where he watched how his father treated his mother and how she, "knew her place," in the household.
Anyway, just be you. Some men are going to annoy you, and try to break you down. I even had a man tell me my purpose in life is just to have children, and being 27 with no kids is a waste of my pussy... (yeah, he said pussy). Just brush all that dirt of the shoulders and keep striving for the top.
IIN that I think women are inferior to men?

You're just tired of fighting the stereotypes.
