I'd say this question and the agreement therein proves that. Lots of white trash out there are properly convinced they're superior, special even, the descendants of the architects of civilization rightfully deserving their spot atop a societal hierarchy. A lot of these people advocate for Social Darwinism, or some kind of utopian meritocracy wherein only the most /gifted/ thinkers would live in power and wealth.
The central irony is, if Earth needed to be evacuated, and there were room for only a fraction of the population to board the mothership to safety, 90% of the people who think this wouldn't even qualify as an applicant to be one of the janitors. You're all equally as worthless as the caricatures of black folk you have in your head.
