I've seen the Boondocks a few times through, and I've seen a lot of Rileys and a few Hueys. So apparently Aaron Mcgruder thinks along the same lines
As for the culture, I heard it argued the other way around; just about every black person you meet is dressed the same and only listens to rap. Every white person you meet can like their own mix of rock, country, metal, jazz, classical, whatever else and even rap and has unique style and aesthetic
Not my words, I just skimmed through this dissertation level essay thing I thought was gonna be racist but was seemingly sincerely a vent for a bunch of white teachers in a black town, some of whom stopped eating fast food because they were tired of the colloquialisms of the community
