How does better background checks interfere with The Second Amendment?
I also think any crime committed with a firearm should have a mandatory minimum sentence of at least double what the same crime would be w/o a firearm.
I don't think anyone, even the staunchest pro-gun people, are against better background checks. Problem is, when people say "better" background checks, they sometimes really mean "make it harder to get a gun because I don't like them"--A.K.A., stronger checks but still not really enforcing the ones we currently have, which if properly enforced, likely would've prevented Parkland.
