Okay, so, I don't understand why so many people have a problem with incest and bestiality. My personal view is that if they wanna fuck a dog or their sister, then let them. I'm an atheist, and I'm not attracted to anybody, in fact I identify as asexual - could those have something to do with it?

If you do think it's wrong, then don't try to use the bible as a way to justify your reasons. I'll ignore any comments who do that.

But anyway, is it normal? Or do you have any reasons against it? Why?

    I agree with the basic idea that nothing is "wrong" because someone thinks it is gross. If your moral argument doesn't extent beyond beyond finding something disgusting, you don't have much of an argument :P

    I agree with you when it comes to incest. I don't see what's damaging about it. Sex isn't just about procreation, even more so nowadays than ever, so the "unhealthy pregnancies" argument just doesn't wash with me. Most sex doesn't result in procreation, and there are countless easy ways to prevent pregnancy while still having sex! Two consenting adults can do what they want. There's a very strong taboo against incest, but that taboo is the one and only reason it's socially unacceptable.

    Bestiality is a different story. I do not believe that an animal can physically communicate consent to sex with a human (verbally or non-verbally). I also don't think animals can understand sex (especially cross-species sex) enough to give *informed* consent to sex with a human. That makes bestiality non-consensual sex.

      I'd has been documented that some animals attempt to initiate the sexual contact, actually. My girlfriend cat was in heat and attempted to initiate sexual contact with any human who entered the house

    For another human being, it has to do with feeling and maybe guilt complex that happens when having sexual relations with a family member. Some never get over it. Some people never can have a normal sex life because of family "togetherness", so to speak...

    Beastiality? No. As people have stated before, you are never completely sure if the animal is giving consent; therefore, you could technically be "raping" the animal.

    Incest? Personally, I would never take part in it, but that's a preference -- I don't see anything wrong with other people IF it's consensual. As long as both parties are consenting, there's nothing wrong with an incestual relationship. After all, don't we all come from the same cells, anyway?

    I also don't see what the big deal is with "underage" sex. If one is, say, fifteen, and the other is twenty, and they are both consenting, why is it illegal? As long as the younger is not being blackmailed/forced into sex, why shouldn't they be allowed to give their consent? A five-year age difference of 20-25 would be allowed, so why not 15-20?

    Well if you think about it bestiality is rape. The animal can not give you verbal consent so you are raping them. Sex without consent is RAPE and should be illegal. Its like sex with a child which can not legally give consent. So its still rape. I do not believe in sex with someone/something that can not give you verbal consent. So No RAPE IS WRONG! WITH ANY SPECIES! So what being Atheist means you agree with rape and animal abuse? I am also sure if you tried to fuck an animal it might retaliate and bite or kill you. Glad to know that lack of religion makes you a rapist. Perfect example your setting.

      A fair enough point. But don't you think that if an animal doesn't, for example, whine in pain or try to retaliate then it is, in effect, givimg consent? I do have a problem with zoosadism (where the animal is hurt by the perpetrator) but if they aren't hurting the animal and the animal doesn't retaliate, then perhaps it's clear they are giving consent? And also, my atheism doesn't make me a rapist, nor will it ever - rape IS wrong, and maybe bestiality is also morally wrong, I'm just saying that you should allow other people to do what they want to do.

        An animal can not give verbal consent you don't know what they are thinking. Secondly any dogs that are trained to have sex with humans are killed. Since they attempt sex with any human that they find and at that point are considered too dangerous and put down. As said in the law for these type of cases. I don't think you being a horny bastard should cause the death of innocent animals. Animals do not think like people.

    I'm an athiest too but that doesn't mean I don't have proper morals to live by. Incest is fucked up. It leads to unhealthy pregnancies and it turns a regular family into a fucked up mess. Nobody respects a family who does that shit. Beastiality is fucked up because it isn't safe. Animals don't know restraint nor can they consent to such activities. It's rightly labeled as animal abuse. Also if proper civilized members of society openly end up mating with animals how does that make us any better than them? Someone wants to be treated like an animal then fine, strip out of your clothes and lay in hay. Maybe we'll skin you for our supper as well.

    Some things you have to put red tape around whether you are religious or not. You may not care what someone else does but things like incest, bestiality, cannibalism cannot be allowed. It's just wrong.

      You say incest is just plain wrong but you don't really explain why. Contraception is the solution to your only argument.
      There was a recent example of a father and a daughter having an incestual relationship in Adelaide and everyone was up in arms about it. I remember thinking it's no one’s business but theirs. They were both well above 30 or 40 years old, loved each other dearly, had no plans for children and were law abiding citizens (apart from the incest). I have to admit I find it a bit weird but who are we to judge.

    Well, the main reason for not having sexual relations with say your sister is because she may think about what you have done to her and not be able to get over it. Maybe suicide.
    As for sheep or whatever animal.....If you don't mind that maybe your penis will fall off, then go right ahead. Some animals might enjoy it, although watch out for the bull if your in the pasture with the cow.

    Really? You're asexual? So you completely lack any desire of sex? That's odd. Yeah, I consider incest and bestiality wrong. With bestiality, yeah you never can be sure if the animal is giving you consent. With incest, I would never want to increase the risk of my child having a deformity.
