Is it normal that i think that every reality tv show is comepletely set up.

my feeling is that all these 'actors' on these reality shows are completely faking it.. how do they act the way they do when they have 2 two cameramen 5 feet away.. fuck jersey shore!

There's an English semi-reality TV show here and it got remade in America and then sold back to us for whatever reason. For about half a second in the opening credits, it now says "Not all of the scenes represent reality. Some of what you see has been staged for entertainment value". I speed read. If not, I'd have missed it. But it told me all I needed to know. So yes, you're right.

About 80% of reality tv is scripted, actors voices r recorded at different times and then added in to make it seem more dramatic, scenes are almost never played in the order they actually happened, learned all that from a pop culture presentation I had to do.

  • Most reality shows are just glorified game shows anyways.

  • I live in New Jersey, the shore isn't all that. Which kind of makes sense.
