Is it normal that i think that chivalry is dead, women killed it!
I heard that line the other day and it struck me as extremely accurate. My whole life I've tried my best to live by good principle and strong morals, and treat women with great caring and kindness. This is especially true with women I've had feelings for over the years. To illustrate what I mean a little clearer, I've never been the type of guy to pressure a girl into any form of sexual intimacy. Not saying they are not aware that I would go there, but I try to have the maximum amount of respect in this regard. Lately however I've really lost hope in pursuing girls with this frame of mind. Every time I do it never ends up going anywhere and I just get labeled with the classic "oh (insert name here) is such a good/kind/caring/nice/whatever guy. He's a great friend" when I really don't want to be just friends! It's almost like acting like a respectful/chivalrous/good guy is not taken seriously by girls my age (I'm 20 btw). I can see why so many guys are jerks or assholes to girls, because at least compared to my plan of action they are at least getting laid. So, is it normal that I feel like this? That I feel that chivalry is dead because women killed it?!? And wtf do I do?!
