Yes, I agree with you 100%! I got my period at nine and years leading up to it I barely knew anything about the Birds and the Bees or even what a period was. Imagine my shock and horror when I got it! Then, my family gave a crap health book and expected me to know the ways of the world. I still barely knew anything until Started social networking and becoming more in tuned with the net. All that is quite recent! It's like my family actually expected me to know all of it without being properly taught. WTF?! Not teaching your kids is like sending a lamb out for slaughter. It should mandatory that everyone is taught properly!
