ive never been to india but i have been to paki and bangladesh and ive found people are either super nice or assholes who try stupid scams so juvenile that a baby could see through em

Apparently they do really shitty scams on purpose because it increases their overall profit. It's all a numbers game for them. They don't want to waste their time on a person like you who can see through their bullshit. They want to target the most vulnerable and/or stupid people they can, because that person is much more likely to fall for it. So, if the scam obvious, you or I will immediately tell them to get fucked, but if the scam is fairly clever then we might take a little while to figure it out. All of that time could be spent targeting more people. The more people you target, the more stupid/vulnerable people you will find.
It's the same reason why you get those ridiculous emails through with spelling mistakes and obviously dodgy email addresses. They are doing it on purpose because they only want replies from morons and vulnerable people, rather than wasting their time on a load of dead ends.
