Is it normal that i think i'm the only one who is real in this world?

Sometimes I think other people are not real (okay maybe I will sound so dumb) I can feel myself but I can't feel other people, that makes me think that other people are not real and they are created just to make me not feeling alone in this world and if my life is a movie I'm the main actor and others are just supporting actors. Why do I have this kind of thinking? Is it normal?

Hmm you better refrain from watching The truman show. This isn't normal.

Why are you asking us? We don't exist. We are just a product of your imagination.

I don't know if this would be considered normal, but the idea you have is called solipsism. I used to think like this, and it still makes sense to me, but I wouldn't consider myself solipsistic.

I used to think that when I was a kid, I thought that I can only be sure that I have a conscience because I am me, but I have no proof that anybody else is truly there. ( If that explanation make any sense ) I don't think it's normal to keep thinking this way though.

Thank you for entertaining me with my own ponderings, as if you imaginary sheep can really offer a new perspective. I see through this and I'm still lonely. I think I'll nuke my(our)selves today.

It sounds to me like a very selfish way of thinking. I can't relate to what you're saying, so I have to say it isn't normal. You can't feel other people, but I think it's important to use your own feelings to determine how another person would feel in a given situation. Basically, putting yourself in someone else's shoes.

This is called derealization, when you think you are the only real thing in the world. I experience it, and most people will experience it to a degree at some point in their lives.

The old joke (or homemade problem) of idealism.

I felt the same and I think I still do sometimes. Seeing how we don't know for sure what's real, that feeling could very well be true.

I hope it's true. Then when I'm done with this play, I can finally go on the big-screen regarding the life I truly want.
