I don't see a bright future. We're going to get fucked over one way or another. Think of mass extinctions in the past. Maybe climate change will bring about the end of us, or we'll get hit by a meteor. Another world war or nuclear holocaust is another possibility. So many things could go wrong which could make our lives living hell or bring about end of human life. The future is bleak and existence is futile.

    There are too many people on this planet
    We have polluted it with credulous man made religion and ideologies
    Who do we think we are? We have killed most of the wildlife and created vast fields of food

    Look at it this way: deadlier and deadlier weapons will become more and more available even to entry level doofuses. Imagine terrorists sending out small intelligent drones armed with explosives or poison or a blinding laser beam. You step out to your mailbox, suddenly something the size of a hummingbird comes zipping up to you and it's BYE BYE!!!
