I think the coronavirus is China's fault, and it's their duty to sort-up the mess they've created. They should thus be fined, forced to pay the medical cost of all the affected nations, and compensations to the families of the deceased.
China is guilty of many crimes, this is just the latest.
They'll commit more.
China was behind Bird flu and Swine flu too, but neither of them were anything close to what we have going on now with the Corona virus. When Swine flu was the talk of the news, I just shrugged and said "Well, I better not go to China and eat any pork". But with the Corona virus, people are freaking out everywhere, schools and businesses are closed, half the shelves in every grocery store is totally empty, and about one in every four people I see is wearing a mask. This thing we have now is changing so many people's lives
China is the USA's biggest threat. It's not Russia. Wealth has poured out of this country into China. They took all our manufacturing jobs. Fuck those guys.

I dont blame the greedy corporations a bit. They're doing their job by increasing their profits. I blame the politicians who ALLOWED it to be cheaper to outsource manufacturing. There should be a tax on outsourced goods (now there is).

A rather, uh, "odd" acquaintance of mine thinks the virus is a man-made attempt at population control in China that got out of hand.
We should stop all trade with them. They hid and downplayed the outbreak for months until it was too late.
Intentional or not, they caused it. They're at fault. They made it worse by trying to hide it initially.
I agree that everyone waited too long to make it widely publicly known. People didn't start freaking out about it here in Kansas city until after March began. But there are websites dated back to early to mid February about the Corona virus, but those were sites you had to dig for. They shouldn't have waited until early March to make it more obvious news.

The world economy is already for shit. Almost everything you own has some part that was manufactured in china. Stop trade with them and you will soon realize how much we really rely on them for our goods.

They need to address their overpopulation issue and how they feed their citizens. Also step up enforcement on the safety of their food supply. All things the U.S. has struggled with in the past. Population reduction is the key to helping out the situation.
