Is it normal that i think a girl is attracted to me when she smiles at me?

I am above average looking and well-dressed, but definitely not a stud. Sometimes I meet a cute girl for the first time and she gives me a big smile and a gaze that lingers a little longer than usual, and then turns away. Is that a subtle hint that she is attracted to me and that she wouldn't mind talking to me? Is it normal that I think this way or am I jumping to conclusions or being vane or wishful?

    Some girls may really be attracted to you, but most won't be.

    Girls smile a lot because people (not just men) treat them better if they do. A smile does not automatically equal attraction.

    All that hate because he said 'above average looking'. LOL. Dude, you won't know if you don't ask her. Usually what you feel is exactly as it is. If the feeling is that she likes you a bit, she likes you a bit and it could go either way if you talk to her. Wear cologne

    I think you're dreaming. Want to know how many people I smile at on a daily basis, yet I would never consider dating any of them. Some people are just nice and us gals like to smile for the most part. I'm sure some of them think you're cute, so don't rule that out. It's all body language. Look it up if you're interested.
