I suggest you look into microdisectomy or endoscopic disectomy surgery. Its minimum invasive and it works. They just suck the jelly like substance off of the sciatic nerve. Ive had 2 of them I feel so much better and regret not doing it when I was like 25. Most people wake up feeling better. They've come along way with back surgeries. You probably wont need a fusion surgery.
Hold up hold up hold up! I've got SI joint pain, herniated discs, and sciatica and not a single doctor has mentioned this. None of them think I need surgery, but I'll keep this info in mind just in case it ever gets to something unbearable. Thanks! XD
Try to do research on the best orthopedic surgeon in your area and get an appointment. And look it up on youtube theres alot of videos of people interviews before and after. Its nothing like a fusion. Some people are back at work in 2 weeks. Make sure the doctor that does it is competent.
