Is it normal that i still think about a guy from highschool i barely talked to?

When I was a sophomore in high school I had math class with this guy, and we were both obviously interested and would catch eachother looking all the time. But we only talked a couple times, and VERY briefly, because we were both shy. I'm in college and even though I could count on one hand the number of times I talked to him, I still think about him occasionally and wonder what could have been and if I'll get another chance. From what I've seen of him on Facebook and interacting with his friends he just seems like my perfect guy.

Is It Normal?

    I think it's normal if only a few years have gone by. Now if you say this was like 10 years ago and you are still thinking about him, then that doesn't sound OK. So, if it wasn't that long ago, don't just sit around waiting for him to get married or something.

    Just don't go overboard on the your the one for me. Play it very casual, after 4 years, the last thing he's gone want to hear is that you have been building a crush into a maniac obsession. I speak from experience.....

    If it's only been a few years it's no biggie, but not if it's been like 10 yrs or more.

    I'd say no more than 5 yrs should be reasonable. That was the case with me a this hot girl I briefly dated. She was such a great package that I decided to try and mend bridges and date her again.

    But once we started talking, I was reminded of why we broke up and it was-sadly-just better to put that fish back into the sea.

    In your case you hardly knew him, so it's more of a cute fantasy. Sometimes people can turn out to be very different from what you imagined they were.

    However love is a funny thing, if he felt the same about you and he's a good guy, then it wouldn't hurt to try and find out. So if you have a chance to start things up with him, give it a try.

    Talk to him!!!!! Life is WAY too short. Who cares. If you get rejected, move on. It's worth a shot

    Honestly even if he isn't in a relationship right now, we go to college thousands of miles apart. But I've just been wondering "what if" a lot recently, because when I think about my ideal guy he seems to have ALL the qualities

    Its normal. If he isnt in a relationship now def talk to him and see how it goes. You might still be able to get him.
