Sometimes when her and I are out and about, I squeeze her ass she tells me it is fine with me doing it, I squeeze it while kissing her when I'm inside my house.
Is that a normal thing?
If she's fine with it and you're being discreet enough when you do it in a public place that she doesn't find it embarrassing, then there's nothing at all wrong with what you do.
I like butts, too, and we're not the only two guys in the whole world who feel that way. It's entirely possible that your girlfriend likes how you like that part of her body, since many women are very self-conscious about their butts, and feel that it's too big, too small, the wrong shape or whatever. You showing her that you like some particular part of her body will never be a bad thing - as long as it doesn't get to the point where she starts to wonder if that's the only thing you like about her.
Holding her butt while you kiss seems to me an entirely natural thing to do, but something you might consider is that the small of the back - the dip just above the butt - is a minor erogenous zone for many women. Moving your hands up a little and caressing and lightly massaging there just might result in interesting things happening.
If shes okay with it, just sounds like a silly joke or a quick laugh. Nothing wrong with it.
