I'm from America and I love the uk! I dream of visiting there, and sometimes fantasize about actually moving there. It seems so much more peaceful and understanding than the USA. Plus you have the BBC ;)
You should definitely come and have a look. I bet it's different to what you expect and I think you'll find us ruder than you imagine but if you head up north (where me and MissSorel are), you'll meet nice, friendly people who will like you too.
