Is it normal that i seem to get depressed when i stop listening to music?

I know that this sounds kind of far fetched... but, it seems like the more depressed I feel, the more I notice I haven't been enjoying music much. Not just simply listen like in the backgourd, but sitting and enjoying it.
Like when a i do enjoy music I tell myself i should enjoy more music, but I keep forgetting... and then start to get depressed again.

When a person is depressed it is not uncommon for them to lose interest in things that they otherwise enjoy.

You should talk to someone about your depression if this continues.

Sounds like music is how you cope with stress. If you notice you get depressed without it then try to schedule at least ten minutes a day where you just relax and listen to music. Also get yourself checked out if you haven't already if you are struggling with depression.

i used to love music , then i paid attention to the words of the song and they are all about killing yourself slowly . with booze , drugs , heartache , depression, war , killing , murder. screw that, ain't nobody got time for that shit.
