Is it normal that i see shadow people?

I see shadow people.

They sound like static and crowded rooms filled with mindless chatter.

7ft tall shapes of shadow, long and dense like a human but stretched and cloaked only there is no seam line...

Some people believe these to be ghosts or "shadow people"

I have come to believe that these are something else...

On one hand they are protective, on the other malicious.
I fear they want me to do something criminal and irreversable to myself, but stop others from harming me.

I must do it myself...

I know its not really normal, but who else sees them?

I cant see them 29
I can see them 24

I used to see what I though were moving shadows out of the corner of my eye regularly. I figured it was paranoia.

I used to experience that too, among mild auditory hallucinations. They went away after the dosage of my antipsychotic got upped.

just remember: the supernatural have no more right to you than other people. If those shadows want you to do something, ask yourself the following question:

If a mobster comes to me and demands that, would i do that?
Or would i call the police?

If you decided for the police, do the same with the shadows, don't go along with their demands and instead call the ghostbusters.....er, i mean a therapist(or, for that matter, a shaman or excorcist...or whatever profession you are most likely to put trust in).

When I was around 7 I woke up in the middle of the night and saw an a shadow of a man standing in front of the doorway to the bathroom. Its not like it was just dark and I thought I saw a shadow I could clearly see it and still remember it. I woke up my aunt who was sleeping next to me and she told me to go to sleep. I sat there for maybe an hour staring at it and it never moved once, so I know it wasn't just someone messing with me.After just sitting and staring at it it started to scare me so i covered my head. I think its because of that that i never open my eyes in the dark when I'm about to go to sleep. I think if I open them I might see weird shadows again.

Reminds me of a DMT trip. But really, hallucinations (even mild ones)plus this sentence: "I fear they want me to do something criminal and irreversable to myself, but stop others from harming me." leads me to think of psychosis and schizophrenia. And for that you need to see a psychiatrist, who will probably prescribe some form of anipsychotic.

I have seen a shadow person as well. It is a very intimidating figure.

Maybe consider telling a therapist about your hallucinations? Just to find out whether they're real or just figments of your imagination.

this is relatively common. In fact I've had similiar problems. Some people have no idea what you're talking about and doubt such things exist just because they've never gone through this. You can try such things as healing crystals, like have you heard of amethyst, quartz, etc? Black tourmaline is for psychic attack and in orgonite form is even better.

I've seen these before, but I've seen different color figures. One time I was doing homework and I saw a white figure fighting of a black one by my garage door (and don't call me racist, haters, because I'm talking about solidly colored figures, not skin tone), and another time a black figure ran out of a wall in my hallway past my bedroom door.

The only one I was able to see when I looked straight at it out of these two, though, was the second one.

  • I wouldnt take meds for it unless your having serious problems. It might even be actual ghosts. Only take meds if your having serious problems functioning. Meds can cause side effects.

Pretty common problem, just get on some meds and they will help you. Sounds like you lost some ability to tell what is real and unreal.

I've been seeing those too. I usually see them out of the corners of my eyes and they freak me out. Sometimes, they take more of a shape and sometimes they're almost like a fading blur. I personally think my problem might be schizophrenia.

In your case, it could be a variety of things. Maybe, they're spirits? It's good that some make you feel safe, but isn't good that some give off a disturbing vibe. The one's I've seen don't make me feel safe, but they don't really interact with me either. I always feel like they're watching me.... Conditions like bipolar can cause hallucinations not just Schizophrenia.... Did you have a head injury?

    • I bump my head a lot but nothing that would cause more than a very minor headache for a minute or two

I would still try to get it checked out. I've hit my had numerous times. A few summers ago, I repeatedly got hit hard in my head and then some strange symptoms popped up and got pretty bad. They've lessened a bit now, though.

  • Surefriends: im not a meth head.
    or bored.
or religious, it was religion that caused a lot of unneccecary grief in my life at an early age.

    I'm seeing someone next tuesday.

And when i say criminal, i dont mean im going to go out committing arson or GBH. Its all very internalized.

And i doubt im skitz. I can hold a conversation very well and can sequence things [[time i have a problem with when recalling events]]

meth heads have this exact problem. look at a light-bulb and close your eyes. now open them and look around. same thing. your brain is bored and makes shit up making you paranoid which is a slippery slope to not being bored which re-enforces you to continue being paranoid for fun. go to a baptist revival. It's the same concept. Understand it for what it is. Start reading a book till you are actually tired. You can always get hopped up on anti-psychotics for the rest of your life as a last resort.

I saw one once in a horror film. In another film I saw a man with a giant black plastic head swing a beam of light at his son. I was scared.
