Most of the radiation has decayed on the area; and you will not be allowed anywhere near the parts of the power plant that still have significant radiation.
If I set it up in advance I could probably gain access to areas of the plant with modest levels of radiation due to my specific interest in certain things and experience.
I'm an experienced nuclear plant worker who has had all the radiation training (and know how to dress out and how to use dosimeters) - and I exist in an international data base of nuclear plant workers. I would not be allowed near the really hot areas of the plant (even the local staff needs a real reason to get permission to enter those areas).
IIN That I really want to go to Chernobyl?

It'd be a cool tour; and no real hazard.

Totally correct, most of the comments here are negative, but they clearly know nothing about the area, it's very safe, even for 48+ hour exposure.
