Is it normal that i really like neon signs?

Amazing what people can accomplish using noble gasses.

There’s a house near here owned by a guy who owns a neon sign business and every year he decorates it with all neon signs saying Merry Christmas and stuff. It’s the coolest house in the neighborhood.

So do I.

widely available and cheap led lightin is about the only technological advance in the last couplea decades thats actually useful and better than the predecessor and its like nobody appreciates it

but neon holds some nostalgia for sure and the high voltage transformers are great for zappin squirrels who try to raid the bird feeder

I grew up in the days when most of them flashed on and off. Now those were really cool...

That was made illegal in most cases as the flashing on and off could induce a seizure into certain people with epilepsy.

I'm a big fan of those Himalayan salt lamps myself.

I ended up in a neon museum/workshop/bar in London once and it soaked a love of neon in me too, even though there were some random creepy mannequins in there too.
