I actually understand what you are talking about. This is why I never go to church since everyone at church ends up telling me this type of stuff. So I feel like I somehow am not really part of everything since I never spoken to god.
I never understood this type of stuff either. I would just say just go along with it. Dont tell them they are stupid or anything. You are not going to get it. I don't get it and I was raised this way. You don't even have to agree with anything they say. I don't see it as a big deal.
