Is it normal that i pretend to be a "nerd"

I don't need glasses, but I wear fake ones.
I don't like reading books, but when I'm in school, I pretend to always have my nose in a book and be super interested by what I'm reading.
I don't know why I pretend to be a "nerd" but I just do. No one really notices you and I like that.

Is It Normal?

    To each his own! If that's what you use to avoid converstation or receive unneeded attention then have at it. It's not like anyone would know your faking. That's actually a pretty good idea

    Please don't be fake. If you have interests, and you need glasses wear em and pursue interests, otherwise don't do that please

    When I was in school there were so many people who wanted to be my friend and hang out with me (because of my looks) and it all got too much. So I started to pretend that I was drawing and sat away somewhere against a wall or beneath a tree. It kind of worked but not all of the time. Eventually I ended up becoming really good at drawing.
