Is it normal that i prefer the male singing voice?

Don't get me wrong. I like some female singers. But generally speaking, male singers are just plain better in my opinion. Not for the fact that they're male and I'm a sexist, but because the male and female voice sound like completely different instruments and I just happen to prefer the male instrument. But people claim I am sexist for having that opinion.

Some female voices sound like they're high. I like female voices that sound more like a Male, Like mine.

I can see where you're going with the difference of timbre between male and female voices. Same, I tend to like male vocalists, but I absolutely love female vocalists who could reach the lower ranges- sounds wonderful. Try listening to Sarah Vaughan, singing "I Fall in Love too Easily" and "My Funny Valentine." She's got quite a range.

That's why there are "male versions" of songs on YouTube. Some people just prefer lower voices.

I like listening to guys voices. I'm a guy who likes to sing. I'm a tenor actually, but I like listening to baritones.
