Depends on your mom and it sounds like your mom is pretty cool. My mom has dementia and it's almost impossible for me to maintain a relationship with her; she barely remembers who I am and anytime I try to talk to her it feels like talking to a Markov chain generator. You're only going to have this one mom, be grateful you got a good one and treat her right.
