Is it normal that i prefer animals as friends instead of humans?

I find that animals don't judge me and they all offer me unconditional love and I feel better telling them all of my problems and worries because I know they'll never complain or insult me. I feel like my family dog is my best friend.

    Common but that doesn't make it normal. Especially when I see a woman licking tongues with their dog' Ugh..!! Or they sleep with their dogs and cats. Really? You walk into their home and it smells like a stinking zoo and they are not even aware of it. I knew a lady once that had 43 cats INSIDE her trailer. It stunk to high heaven and she was proud that she loved cats and hated people. I love people and find them fascinating, and I love pets too (I have 2 Boston Terriers), but I keep them separate and different.

    I like animals more too. I miss my dog Blackie. That dog was one of my best friends.

    My cat is my best friend. My former human best friend was such a disappointment.

    I'm starting to realize I'm the same way. I tend to remember the owner's pets' names before I can remember the owner's name lol. Sometimes I say goodbye to the pet only, leaving the owner confused and awkward.
