  • Y'all know the Animal Crossing series is almost 20 years old right? Nintendo makes new versions of their classic games every now and then. It's funny how you "I hate popular things" types like to assume it's some new fad cause you never heard of it til now.

can we say that animal crossing is suddenly insanely popular?

can we say that fortnite was just as popular last year or year before?

do you see where i said i hate either one?

      yes/yes/no? good

i dont really give a fuck what people do with their time and merely made a comment on a recent trend ive observed but thanks for the history lesson

      • Holy hell, lighten up dude!

I'm just saying, this is the same as getting butthurt over Nintendo making a new Mario game. Ironically, you hipsters are picking on the most hipster of Nintendo classics.

Maybe you could make a couple bucks off writing your observations into a comic where the characters have huge noses for faces, and sell it to your local paper.

    • I have an "I hate popular things" attitude, but I've always felt that Animal Crossing sounded boring, whether you're talking about the old or new games.

      • Well, it is a kids' game after all. It's kinda like the Sims. Meant to be more 'therapeutic' than about winning anything. I've only played one of the games and that about 12 yrs ago.

There is nothing wrong with disliking popular things, it's just annoying when people use that as a personality trait.
