Is it normal that i never knew the name of the lead singer of linkin park?

So I've always liked Linkin Park, but never knew any of the member's names until I heard Chester Bennington's death. I was like "Who is that?". I googled it and he happened to be the lead singer of Linkin Park.

Is It Normal?

    I have their first album, but I never bothered about memorizing their names. Why should I remember the name of every musician of a band I listen to, except when it's a solo artist, of course?
