My brother currently has covid for the second time with symptoms. Not once have I tested positive or had any symptoms. We live in the same household and are close, so it makes no sense why I never caught it. Is this normal? Isn't it supposed to be highly contagious?
I've never officially had it either. I got sick for an entire month with the flu last year which could've been covid but I didn't really have the classic symptoms so it was more likely a pretty persistant flu. My covid test was negative and I took 2 of them. Some of us have been lucky I guess. My brother also had it once and lost sense of smell for months afterwards.
I'm the same way. The one time I thought I had it, my PCR test came back negative.
A good chunk of my co-workers had it, my parents did, my boyfriend's friends, his parents had it, and customers at work had it. I'm constantly exposed to it yet I cannot seem to catch it. XD
Bruh I worked with the public the entire pandemic and didn't get COVID. My homie in the urn under my TV isolated the entire pandemic and got COVID. That's why he's in the urn (in case you didn't guess). My roommates got COVID. I was regularly exposed to it.
But I was also a healthy 29 year old who spent many years in close quarters with adults from all over the world and an athletic chain smoker. I feel very lucky that I didn't get it.
