I was pee shy for years. It bothered the hell out of me that I would freeze up at the urinal and not be able to start the flow. I was always jealous of the guys who would walk right up to a urinal and start peeing right away. I looked on the internet and found that anxiety is the cause. I took action and began a behavior modification project to train myself to be able to release the flow without hesitation.
After much time, patience, and conditioning, it worked. I went to a NFL football game last year where there were 20 urinals without dividers all in use. When one became vacant, I went for it and starting peeing shortly after I got into position. I was proud of myself. Could not have done that 10 years ago.
