Is it normal that i'm scared of dead fish (as in goldfish and bettas etc)

So im scared af of dead aquarium fish. When ever I see one I feel like I need to puke and get seriously creeped out by them. My family even admires them! I cannot stand them (as in fish) at all! their beady eyes that never close stare through my soul and i get creeped out af!

    If your family admires dead aquarium fish, you have a very odd family.

    Do they buy them dead, or make them dead?

      We care for them and such, its just when they die, my family just stares at it for 2 hours wondering how it died.

        Sounds like they might better use that time studying how to maintain the tank so your fish don't die.

        Betas only live a few years, but with meticulous care and some good luck, goldfish _can_ live for decades. If yours die much more quickly, you've either been unlucky in getting unhealthy fish, or you're making them live in an unhealthy environment.
