I think you're over thinking it. Some people don't need the validation of hanging with freinds. Some people have to have lots of freinds constantly. Some people just enjoy their own company and/or that of their own family. Some people have absolutely no one. Everyone's different different in this regard. Just be yourself and do not compare.
