I'm 21 but I'm still childish and naive for my age. IIN? Or does it mean I'm emotionally stunted to a degree?

For the past couple of months since my 24th birthday, I've tried to suppress my childlike nature, feeling that I must start acting "grown up" now that I'm in my mid-twenties. All that has done for me is make me miserable.
Don't deny who you are just because society says you should or shouldn't be a certain way, or else you will lose your sense of joy and wonder. Trust me, I know.
I'm an older man and that little kid in me always comes out. It's fun, it's healthy and very healing to one's self and others and it's harmless. Every day when I go out or encounter people my goal is to put a smile or chuckle on somebody's face just by being silly. I love that little kid in me. You have one life so please be yourself. It's very normal to allow the little kid in you to come out. He or she is and will always be your best friend.
