Is it normal that i'm absolutely sure i'll marry my first boyfriend?

I'm 20 years old, and I recently got out of my first real relationship. We broke up a while ago, but I'm still absolutely certain that he's the man I'll end up marrying.
He himself has said it's a possibility but the timing is off right now. We just couldn't see each other as much as needed.

Is this normal? Or am I being over-dramatic?

    If it makes you feel better most people don't marry their first boyfriend. I never even think of my first boyfriend anymore. Everything happens for a reason either you will get together again if it's meant to be or you'll find someone even more awesome:)

    Lol. I think this is common. That "first" guy tends to be "the one" for many girls and they think they may marry him in the future, but their relationship wasn't time-appropriate.

    Or some feel that they had a certain connection with him that they haven't received from anyone else.

    It's possible.

    I thought I was going to be with my first cereal boyfriend til one of us died, then just this week shit got outta control and we're done. Haaaaaay. I'll be in a deep depression soon.

    I hope in the mean time I hope you date a few other guys, and get any curiosity you might have about other men, out of your system.
    I know you don't think so now, but some time in your early 30's you will want to have an experience with another man, and it might ruin your marriage.
