Well no, of course there won't be wolly mammoths, that's just silly. When I say "important" I mean simple things like chop wood, carry water. Who cares? I do, and I am not alone. When society collapses from lack of oil, how will you weather the transition? What are you doing to wean yourself from the addiction? If you fear that all hell will break loose then yes, that is exactly what you will experience. Don't let fear control you for people will take advantage of this weakness.
